C-Type has green-to-go from Jaguar

XK - or twin or "evil", XKR - is a car that any avid fan Jaguar controlled slippage should have in the garage of dream, but that would do well to think about and the future.That's because recently, the British gave rise to the R-Type.

BYD will launch an electric car in U.S.

BYD, the automaker that hopes to reach no. 1 in the world in the auto industry, is preparing to step on American soil. E6 company will launch an electric car which, according to producer, will provide a maximum reach of up to 300 km with one battery load.

At the NAIAS, business manager of BYD, Fred Nil, said that E6 will be very affordable but did not give details on the price. However, he mentioned that the option contract is elasing, but a final decision has not yet been taken.

In terms of sales target, BYD hopes to sell several hundred units in the first year, then sales figures to rise to thousands in the next 12 months. BYD also seeks ways to assemble cars directly to the U.S. and, thus, its cars to have a even lower price.

 Chinese company strives to achieve maximum sales targets to reach as fast as possible to the top end car manufacturers worldwide.

Citroen C3 Picasso 1.6 VTi - now this is something

Here is a tricky one : why do some hate french cars ? Renault, Citroen, Peugeot make nice cars, great designs and most of them have good engines. Their only big problem is the auto parts costs, which is very high ( this is one of the reasons french don`t go do auto service too much, they prefer buying another car ), but else, the french models are quite nice.

One model that is indeed special is the new Citroen C3 Picasso 1.6 VTi - you can check out the looks of this car and I am sure I do not have to say anything about the engine. A small car with such a powerful engine is like a miniatural beast, you won`t even know when it bites you. Many have rated the engine of the Citroen C3 Picasso 1.6 VTi with a 7, on a scale from one to ten, but I would have went one grade higher, up to an eight.

Fuel consumption is not that great though, but you cannot make an agresive car with low fuel consumption, unless you`re japaneese. Here is where I would grade the car with a five. Now we`ll move on to the interior, which I would like to describe it in just one word : fantastic! Ten out of ten, if you`ll ask me and that is really great for a french car that uses a lot of plastic when designing the inside.

Quality price report is allright. Its not expensive for what it has to offer. The starting price for a Citroen C3 Picasso 1.6 VTi is 11.990 euro with VAT included, which is not that much comparable with, lets say, an Opel Meriva. The only serious competition regarding this report would be the Ford Fusion, but some would not choose the second one because of the dull design.

The new Ford Focus, 2010 Edition

I know this is a moment you have all been eager about : the launch of the latest model created by Ford, the new Focus, 2010 edition. Ford Focus is one of the most popular cars in Europe, gaining a lot of customers due to the low price, low taxes and low fuel consumptions, while offering a cool design, stability and, if needed, even power. It is not a sport car, yet it can go RS quite fast, if we are to compare the differenced between the standard version of the new Ford Focus and the old RS version.

The new Ford Focus will be launched in Detroit today ( 11 January 2010 ), being presented globally. The new Focus will have the same design and same engines for United States and Europe, unlinke the older versions, this possibly due to some analytical data telling that the tastes on this type of cars for europeans and americans are not that different.

The new generation of Ford Focus will be created simultaniosly in Saarlouis in Germany, in Michigan ( United States of America ) and in Chongqing (China), but soon after the first cars will be produced in the aforementioned locations, Ford will release the design in Russia and also Spain. Focus will be "in sales" starting from 2011.
